Keep in mind we will be installing these on tire size 205-55-16. This is what our tire chains look like when they're installed. What's going to set these tire chains apart from others, like you H pattern or ladder pattern style chains, these are going to be a diamond pattern. So they're going to give you more tire coverage. Keep in mind, we will be installing these on tire size 2055516X.These chains are going to be SAE class S rated for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. You can see they're going to have a low profile design, which is going to give you a much more comfortable ride. They're going to have a durable cable construction with steel rollers to give you adequate traction in light snow and ice.These chains come in a quantity of two. If you have an all wheel drive vehicle and you're only getting two, make sure you install them on the front tires. Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2012 Subaru Impreza- Video
Today on our 2012 Subaru Impreza, we'll be installing the Glacier Tire Chains, part number PW1038. Now, our tire size on this Impreza is a 205-50 R17. These tire chains are perfect for the occasional use. They will feature a rugged steel wiring covered with case-hardened steel rollers. The spring rollers are wrapped around sturdy wire across cables and they're designed for passenger vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They work on either front or rear wheel drive vehicles. Note that this is a full-time, all-wheel-drive vehicle so chains should go on all four tires. more
